Opportunity Is Merely a Chance Prepared For

Like many of you I have had the chance to do many things in my life that if I had made prior preparation for … well let’s just say I would be where I am but with a twist to it. 

What do I mean? Well let me break it down for you, see the average youth today is occupied most of the time with the thought of making money, they ponder on this idea from as early in life as 13 years of age.

This is good except they forget the key ingredient in this recipe for success, Planning. Yes young bloods it’s an unfamiliar word I get it… you liked to “wing it” … you know just jump into it and discover how deep later. The surprise is most youths don’t realise they have the right drive... to have money of course without the politics of your passions ambitions and road maps. In the end we all drive towards the same hill… money it’s what we want right?

Well like I said, most youths have the idea of a good life but they lack the necessary wheels that will set their dream in motion and that is the ability to plan how exactly they are going to get to where they want to be and how they can turn chances into opportunities. 

Yes in case you are wondering, I am saying stop waiting for opportunities and utilize the chances you have to make opportunities yourselves. It is only when you plan adequately that you will see opportunities flaunt themselves before your very eyes.

So then, what must we do as youths? Well we are all gifted uniquely and the fact that we have young minds means we can use our gifting in ways unseen before. The only thing we miss is to plan. 

If you want to succeed in your studies, plan your study strategy well enough for it to see you through your academic year with good grades, if you love art i.e. music, poetry and whatever other kind there is, well be well versed in the areas you wish to speak about in your art genre that entails reading… a lot.

Because just like the caption says… Opportunity… is but a chance that happens to those who have prepared for it.
